OWNA is excited to announce that Penelope QIP — Australia’s leading QIP software — will be joining the OWNA family. The platform, developed by Linniar Group Pty Ltd, will be the third brand under the OWNA umbrella, alongside OWNA and newly-released WORKR.
Penelope QIP is a cloud-based software that allows early education services to better align to the National Quality Standards (NQS) by helping them streamline their Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) online.
The aim of a QIP is to help services self-assess their performance in delivering quality education and care, and to plan future improvements. It also helps regulatory authorities with assessing the quality of the service.
Over 2,500 Australian early education services and 5,000 of their educators use Penelope to efficiently prepare for assessment and rating, saving hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars in the process. OWNA’s decision to add Penelope QIP to its suite of apps means that they can continue adding to the most comprehensive all-in-one childcare management software (CCMS) in Australia, for no extra cost.

What does it mean for existing customers of Penelope QIP?
Nothing at all. Penelope QIP will remain a separate application, and you do not have to be an OWNA customer to use any of its amazing features. Existing Penelope QIP users will continue to use the platform as it is, with more new wonderful features to be added in the coming months.
What does it mean for OWNA customers?
OWNA’s premium centres will now have access to a world-class QIP application for FREE, making it available for both staff and parents to view and contribute to.
Penelope QIP will be the de facto QIP software on the OWNA platform and will be further improved to make it tightly integrated for our customers.
